Evelyn Taylor, MC, CCC (they/she)

Hi, I’m Evelyn.

Clients often come to me holding feelings of shame, disconnection, concerns about their relationship, sexuality, or identity. I collaborate with you to explore those emotions, identify needs, and find paths forward. My goal is for the process to feel curious, hopeful, and playful. I support you in harvesting the most meaning and growth from therapy.

I believe that all of us deserve access to our emotions, pleasure, and bodies in a way that feels connected, secure, and free from shame. As a queer, non-binary person, I also bring lived experience for exploring identity and this informs my practice as I invite all parts of yourself into the space, including those that may be contradicting..

style

  • Slow is Fast: — Rather than being rushed into off-the-shelf solutions, I take time understanding all parts needed to cultivate personalized transformation

  • Somatic Embodiment: — I integrate wisdom of the soma (body) in addition to more cognitive talk-based therapy, using neuroplasticity to create neural pathways and deeper healing.

  • Co-Create Safety: — Safety and trust in our chats is to be cultivated together. This means co-creating a space that feels affirming, safe, and nourishing for your relationship to yourself and others. I believe that you are the expert in your own life.
